  • I live in Georgia. There are no warm and fuzzy feelings here toward them, to many legal citizens are out of work and would gladly take any job, even the "dirty jobs" that so many intellectual elites think only the immigrants will want to do.

  • They are undocumented in that they have no birth certificates or social security cards of their own. They are known of because many of them recieve social services from the state, and case workers are well aware of them.

  • I know, this is such flawed logic. The immigrants that are hired for cheap labor are taking jobs away from many of the poor and working class laborers in Georgia who are having trouble finding jobs. They will take any job at this point.

  • The common ground would be to enforce the laws that are on the books. That is, not allow those who enter the country illegally to gain employment or recieve medical services paid for with tax money. The law of the land is something that both left and right should be willing to get behind.

  • I live in Georgia, and it has been hit hard with job losses, most of them working class jobs and factory jobs. I know that thousands and thousands of Georgians would gladly do the kind of work these immigrants are doing.

  • They are easy to find, if you want one to do your yard work or work at your construction site you will usually know what street corner to go to. You simply pick which one you want, and you have cheap labor for the day.

  • As a Georgia resident, I assure you that this is a problem. The jobs that illegal immigrants take are not jobs that "Americans won't do," as so many illegal immigrant advocates claim.
